1. What are my shipping options?

Our standard shipping is Priority Mail via the US Postal Service. Delivery can typically be expected within 3-7 business days.

Additional shipping options via FedEx or the US Postal Service are listed below.  Depending upon our volume, please allow 1-3 business days for processing of orders.

ORDERS WITHIN THE U.S.

FedEx Ground/Home Delivery (2-5 business days)

Full door-to-door tracking. FedEx Ground/Home Delivery is not offered for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or P.O. boxes. 

USPS Priority Mail (3-7 business days)

Priority Mail is offered for P.O., A.P.O., and F.P.O. boxes and non-contiguous U.S. states and territories. This service has limited tracking.

USPS Express Mail (1-3 business days)

Express Mail is only offered for P.O., A.P.O., and F.P.O. boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii.  This service has limited tracking.

 

2. Do you process international orders?

Unfortunately, DC Threads is unable to accommodate international orders at this time.  We hope to be able to offer this service in the near future.


3. What is your return policy?

Before you ship anything back to us, send us an email at contact@dcthreads.com with “RETURN” in the subject line.  Please include your order number in the email.

All requests for returns must be made within 14 days from the date of shipping. Merchandise must be unworn, unused and in perfect condition.

DC Threads reserves the right to deny credit if, upon receipt, the returned merchandise does not meet company return policy requirements. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

We recommend UPS or insured Parcel Post for proof of delivery. We assume no responsibility for the reimbursement for, or replacement of, any lost return merchandise.  Do not send the package C.O.D. (Cash/Check on Delivery), as it will not be accepted.

When we have received your returned merchandise, we will process your request within 5 business days of our receipt of the package.


4. What kind of shirts do you print on?

All of our shirts and hoodies are supplied by American Apparel. Unless noted otherwise, t-shirts are 100% Cotton.  Hoodies are 50% Polyester / 50% Cotton Fleece.


5. Where are your apparel and other merchandise printed?

All DC Threads shirts, hoodies, and limited edition artwork are made and printed in the United States.

 

6. How is your apparel printed?

All DC Threads shirts and hoodies are printed using state-of-the-art screen-printing processes using water-based inks.

 

7. How should I wash my DC Threads tee? Will it shrink?

Generally, cotton shrinks when it is washed. You may experience shrinkage of 3-5 percent in both the length and width after wash with our 100% cotton tee.  For best results, and the least amount of shrinkage, you should wash the shirt in cold water and hang it up to dry.  In addition, this method will be best in keeping the print on your shirt looking good.

 

8. How do I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, email contact@dcthreads.com with “CANCEL” in the subject line.  Be sure to include the ORDER # in either the subject line or body of your email.

If your order has already shipped, you will be given instructions on how to return the order to us. Once we receive your order back to our shop, your credit card will be refunded less the original shipping charges.


9. How do I use a discount code?

If you have a discount code, you can enter it on the second page of the checkout process. Once you enter the code, click the "Apply Discount" button to receive your discount.


10. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express), or your Paypal account.


11. Is your website secure?

At DC Threads, we take website security issues very seriously and built our website accordingly.  We use the latest industry-standard SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption to protect your personal information. 

All payment processing is managed by Paypal, one of the most respected and widely used payment processors in the world. You will note the small pad-lock icon in the locked position that will appear in the lower right corner or upper right corner of your browser during each of the pages of the checkout process – this indicates the security of your transaction.


12. Can you accommodate bulk orders?

Yes. DC Threads will accommodate special orders of (12) or more items of the same design.  Email us at contact@dcthreads.com to make a request for a large order and we'll be in touch!
